A note from our Creative Director.
You may have noticed a new pattern throughout Aldea’s branding recently, and I think it’s time I share the inspiration behind this fun new element. This new design (found on our new pastry bags, miir mugs, coffee storage canisters, sticker sheets, and more to come!) is inspired by three foundational words in our mission: Explore, Enjoy, and Preserve. These words have guided us for years, and throughout the nine years I have worked as Aldea’s in-house designer, I have often wanted to find a way to visually capture the unique feelings and energy they embody.
And so I illustrated a collection of images that holds it all.
You’ll find a White Pine branch, Petoskey stone, and an Apple Blossom, all native to Michigan and representing our state tree, rock, and flower. And on the Miir Mugs & Coffee Canisters, you’ll also see a Lencan pottery egg, a traditional Honduran art form proudly displayed on the shelves at both cafes.
Together, these symbols capture the essence of Aldea and the communities we build.
THE CHALLENGE
From April 14th - 28th, I challenge you to bring your reusable mug (any mug!) for your drink only 5 times. and we’ll gift you an “Explore Enjoy Preserve” Sticker Sheet as a THANK YOU for supporting us and our efforts to preserve our planet.
